this photo, from the Tribal Fibres - Connecting Threads event at Hahndorf Institute, South Australia, 12, 13 & 14 March, was published in The Courier (Adelaide Hills newspaper), 24 March 2010. the artworks include the originals from * & **. elsewhere in the room were creations of wool, jewellery, paintings, sculptures by a female blacksmith, & so on.
the works presented there are great, and the initiative (gathering these and other works at the exhibition) sounds really interesting!
ReplyDeletewe know some of the works! they could be visual poetry, paintings, musical notations or something else. presenting them in a sequence makes them comics.
your presence at the picture makes it even more deep. you are the narrator, the metacomixer, the reader, the author, the philosopher, the reporter - and lots more.
