Three Panel Comic Strip Experiment

I was inspired by the random Garfield Generator and the Garfield minus Garfield strips to experiment with the three panel comic strip format. I was interested in the empty banality of these strips and the fact that these make Garfield more interesting as a comic strip. These are some of the experiments the resulted.

Gościnne Strony - Guest Pages
hello,
I would like to invite everyone to the project "Guest Pages".
Please send one page of comics and a text to pszren@wp.pl before the end of December 2011.
the comics should be inspired by/somehow similar to/developing the ideas of the "tandian" series. so it can be minimalistic with dots and frames only, but it can be totally different. please surprise the reader, break the rules. the comics should not be published before.
the text (comment, story, your views, explanation, whatever you want) should be signed (I mean please let me know if you want your name or nickname under it). the texts will be translated into Polish and published in Polish only (but I can put the English version on the net if you want).
the gathered pieces will be published in an anthology as a pdf file. a printed version will be sent to the National Library in Warsaw, Poland. and anyone interested will be able to print a copy as well.
It would be great to gather many interesting pieces of experimental comics and interesting comments from various authors. please take part in the project and also please invite anyone who could be interested.

450 pages, minimalistic :). the idea is opposite than in dantian (remember that one?), the frames move, but the nine dots stay still. I wanted to make the animated gif, but well... (the piece looks nice as a slideshow, anyway :) ).

Tree-Blogging project mentioned in ARTNews this month
Back in January, Piotr posted work on the "experimental comics" blog as part of a social media performance/art event ("Tree-Blogging") that I was coordinating with @Platea. That project is briefly discussed in an article on social media art in ARTNews this month. It's toward the end of the article.

Veronique 2
today the second album of "Veronique" comics was published. Veronique is the name of the main character (or many of the main characters - so in each episode there is a different Veronique). the girl inspires artists (and when they cannot reach her, their art doesn't become great.
the album was created by Otusiunio (who also subscribes this blog :) ), and the stories were written by five authors (the idea was an experiment - as the character is not fully developed, each author could write about almost anything and place the action anywhere). I find Otusiunio's comics quite experimental/artistic - so perhaps it was ok to write about the comics on this blog :).
